Silence

Silence is our default state. It is one. It cannot be divided. You cannot have two types of silences. Silence is the same everywhere and every time. Only sound keeps changing. All activity leads to sound. Leads away from silence. Silence is a state of inactivity. It cannot be created. It can only be allowed. You can only stop doing the things that cause sound. Once they are allowed to settle, silence is uncovered. Actually nothing ever happens to silence. It is ever present. It doesn’t come and go. Only sound comes and goes. Silence is untouched.
