Time is just such a mystery to me. I have a meeting today with Vicky to discuss building an app for his order management system. I just looked at my notes from my last meeting with him about this which was on 14JAN2024. That’s more than two years back. Wow. So much time has gone by and yet so little. I cannot notice any change in how I am feeling within. I am finding it very difficult to believe that so much time has gone by. I think because of the timelessness of our true nature, time feels as if it is moving very fast.
At our very core, we do not experience time. We do not experience anything. We are the one that experiences. The timeless non-changing entity called consciousness. No concepts exist that can explain it because all concepts exist within consciousness.
I was listening to a wonderful podcast with Mooji in it and that man is just brilliant. What a simple way to explain this. My true nature was just so effortlessly revealed to me by him. Especially the guidance that he took me through.
He made me keep all my past aside for a brief moment. Ready to be picked up again, any time after the guidance was over. Then he made me keep the future aside. All future related mental activity was to be placed on the side and left there. Then the next thing he made me do was something mind blowing. He made me drop the present as well. Just don’t bother about whatever is happening in the present as well. Stop the mental activity that was focused and evaluating the present moment as well.
Drop the past.
Drop the future.
Drop the present.
Then he asked me: “What’s remaining?” Was I still there? Was I aware? And I was. I cannot say I experienced anything. I was just there. Then the series of YES/NO questions followed which blew me away.
Does whatever this is have a shape?
Does it have a color?
Does it have a form?
Can you reduce it or fade it down?
Can you lose it?
Can you possess it?
Can you see it having a boundary?
Was it born?
Can it die?
Are you imagining it?
Is this hypnosis?
–While I am writing this I have suddenly gotten a thought of how can I use this. –
As all my answers were NO, this proved that what I was experiencing was my fundamental nature. My true Self.
We create a rules of success and failure. It comes out of us. There is no fixed thing called success. We make it up. We create this idea, this illusion that this is what we need to do and get and achieve to be successful. It is a thought that comes out of nowhere and takes possession of us.
